Limited choices. Limited resources. That’s the hurdle in the recently concluded weekly challenge. Proposed by Lovebeat, iGFXers’ will take on making signatures from a limited choices of images/extracts.

The Mechanics

At the front page of yinyanganime.com, there is a widget that displays 5 random images from the site’s gallery. The challenge: use one of those images to create a signature. No refreshing and refreshing until you get an image you like. That’d be cheating, and that’s a definite no-no! But if you got a nice image as you first loaded the page, well, lucky you! If not, well, that’s the challenge right there!

It’s not a contest against other gfx artists, but a challenge against one’s own skills. To learn one of the important gfx skills: making use of limited resources to make something great ;D
